PGA Professional Championship in Ireland

O'Hara and Currie well placed at halfway


Scots Paul O'Hara and Christopher Currie are poised to make a run at the Titleist and Footjoy PGA professional championship from good halfway positions in the 72-hole tournament at Luttrellstown Castle Golf and Country Club, near Dublin.
O'Hara is lying third on four-under 140 after rounds of 69 and 71.
Currie has shot 70 and 71 for 141 and is sharing fourth place with two other players.
Irishman Brendon McGovern (Headfort) leads on seven-under 137 after rounds of 71 and 66.
