Four tie for victory in Cawder pro-am

Greig Hutcheon (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre Inchmarlo), Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills), Louis Gaughan (Bathgate) and Stephen Gray (Lanark) figured in a four-way tie for victory at today's Cawder Golf Club pro-am, Glasgow.
All four had three-under-par 67s and earned £807.50 each.
Four of Hutcheon's bag of six birdies were 2s at par-3 holes, including the 18th which he needed to match the clubhouse leaders.
McKechnie had an eagle 2 at the fourth and birdies at the fifth and sixth but the 11th was the only inward hole he birdied.
Gaughan had the best inward half of 32 with birdies at the 11th, 12th, 13th and 17th.
Gray birdied the 16th and 17th to get a share of the honours.
Alastair Forsyth's successful run came to an end - temporarily - in this event. He finished 18th of 27 with a 73 which earned him £90.44. He had a double bogey 6 at the 15th and four bogeys plus a couple of birdies. The Mearns Castle man will rise again.
