Jacques the lad with nine holes to play in

Joburg Open

EUROPEAN TOUR COMMUNICATIONS
South African Jacques Kruyswijk held a one-shot lead as the third and final round of the weather-affected Joburg Open neared its conclusion on Sunday.
Kruyswijk fired five birdies on the front nine to reach the turn in 32 and get to 15 under par.
Stuart Manley, Darren Fichardt and Paul Waring were another stroke back on 14 under.
The tournament was reduced to 54 holes after thunder, lightning and subsequent course flooding forced play to be abandoned before the leaders had started their third rounds on Saturday afternoon.
There was another two-hour delay before play resumed on Sunday morning, but Kruyswijk made a fast start when he finally began his third round.
Starting the day in a share of third place on ten under par after producing rounds of 63 and 70, Kruyswijk notched birdies at the first and third to get to 12 under.
After picking up another shot at the sixth, the South African tapped in his close-range birdie putt at the eighth to join Fichardt at the top of the leaderboard.
And Kruyswijk holed a monster putt at the ninth to move to 15 under and take the outright lead.
George Coetzee set the clubhouse target on 12 under after posting a closing 65.
