DOHERTY'S T20 FINISH IN THAILAND 

BUT BYRNE T44 AFTER MORE DOUBLES

Jack Doherty and James Byrne, the only two Scots in the field, finished joint 20th and 44th respectively in the Asian Development Tour's Thongchai Jaidee Foundation tournament at Black Mountain Golf Club, Hua Hin in Thailand.

Doherty earned £975 with rounds of 71, 73, 74 and 73 for three-over-par 291 - 15 shots behind the Thai winner by six, Chapchai Nirat (65 for 276).

Byrne had three double bogey 6s in his final round and six in all over his four rounds of 74, 70, 76 and 78 for 10-over-par 298. He earned £558.
