SCOTS BOYS START WELL IN AUSTRIA

Scotland have begun well in the European boys' team championship at Atzenbrugg, Austria.
A round of one-under-par 71 by Scottish boys champion Eric McIntosh - five off the lead - helped the Scots to finish the first qualifying round  with a total of 369, tied third with Denmark, behind the Czech Republic (361) and Italy (364).
England (385) are 13th and Wales (388) 14th.
