DUNCAN STEWART'S COSTLY LATE BOGEYS

Bogeys
at the 17th and 18th cost Duncan Stewart a top 20 finish today (Sunday)
in the Challenge Tour's Montecchia Open, reduced to 54 holes because of
flooding on what should have been the firt day at Pavoda, Italy.
The
Grantown-on-Spey man had scores of 66, 67 and 71 for a share of 24th
place on 204 - eight shots behind the English winner, Gary King
(64-63-69 for 196).
Paul Shields finished the second best Scoy on 206 and joint 39th place with scores of 69, 66 and 71.
Motherwell's
Ross Kellett (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) slumped to joint 54th place at a
no-birdie final round of 75 for an aggregate of 208 after earlier
scores of 65 and 68.
Walker Cup amateurs Ewen Ferguson (209) and Grant Forrest (215) finished 61st and 72nd respectively. Forrest had one double bogey and seven bogeys in a final-round 78.
