Bruce wins Phillips Trophy with better second round than Munro at windy Peterhead

Calum Bruce (Duff House Royal) won the North-east District's 36-hole competition at Peterhead for the Phillips Trophy.
Bruce and Gordon Munro (Fraserburgh) tied on 148 but Bruce's better second round of 74 to Munro's 76 was the tie breaker.
The players had to battle strong winds and some difficult pin positions but they were all complimentary on the condition of the course.
