Fraser Mann wins Midland Alliance 

Championship by four at Scotscraig

Professional Fraser Mann of Carnoustie has won the Midland Golfers' Alliance championship over 36 holes for the first time.

He had rounds of 67 and 72 at Scotscraig Golf Club, Tayport, Fife for a three-under-par total of 139, four shots ahead of  three assistant pros - Sam McLaren (Blairgowrie) 71 72, Graeme Brown (Montrose Golf Links) 71 72, Craig Matheson (Falkirk Tryst) 70 73.

Six-handicapper Graham Milne (Aberdour) won the handicap title with net scores of 73 and 66 for a total of 139.
In the McQueen Shield, played over 18 holes, Scott Arbuthnott (Arbroath) won the scratch prize with a 77 and the handicap winner was Rab Baldie (Crieff) with a net 72 off six.
