Moray pro Rodger Clarke wins North Alliance 

over home course at Lossiemouth

Professional Rodger Clarke (Moray) recovered from the setback of a double bogey 6 at the eighth to return a five-under-par 65 over his home Old Course at Lossiemouth to win Saturday's North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture by four shots. 

Birdies came at the 1st, 5th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 16th and 17th holes.
There was a good-size field of 85 competitors.
Secretary Alan Cowie is relieved that the competition was not arranged for today (Sunday) as overnight snow has covered the Moray Old Course - and frost is forecast!
