Start of 2016 Tartan Tour delayed by snow at
Glasgow Gailes
Today's scheduled start of the 2016 Tartan Tour was postponed
when the Glasgow Gailes course was snowbound and obviously unplayable
for the first of the PGA in Scotland Winter Four-ball series.
"There was an inch or so of snow in Ayrshire over the weekend – unheard of!" said Shona Malcolm, secretary of the PGA in Scotland.
The Winter Four-ball series switches to the East Course next Monday at Craigielaw Golf Club, East Lothian.
