Midland Alliance report and leading scores

Amateurs Norman and Fraser lead way at 

Edzell with one-under-par 70s

Two amateurs - Norman Dyce, a two-handicapper at Strathmore Golf Centre, and Fraser Campbell, who plays off one at Monifieth - tied for first scratch in this week's Midland Golfers' Alliance competition at Edzell Golf Club.

Both had scores of one-under-par 70.

Tony Lumsden (Monifieth) ( 9) returned a net 70 to win the handicap section. 

Tony also helped Dunnikier Park professional Alastair McDonald and Steve Hills (Monifieth) (8) gain first place in the Anglers' Inn, Guildtown, team competition with a score of 61, winning on better inward half.
