Ewen Ferguson gets Sam Horsfield's
place in GB and I Walker Cup team

Sam Horsfield has withdrawn from
the Great Britain and Ireland Walker Cup team for personal reasons. His
place in the side will be taken by first reserve Ewen Ferguson.
Ferguson won the British boys' amateur championship in 2013 and became the first player to hold that title
along with the Scottish boys' match-play and stroke-play trophies
which he won last year.
The 19-year-old, pictured, from Bearsden, Glasgow won
the Scottish Champion of Champions event and the Craigmillar Park Open
this year and achieved top five finishes at the Irish Open Amateur and
Scottish Stroke Play championships.
Bradley Moore,17, from Kedleston Park in England, becomes the first reserve.
The 45th Walker Cup match will be played at Royal Lytham and St
Annes Golf Club on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September. Labels: WALKER CUP
