Kenny
Gallacher (East Kilbride) has retained the Lanarkshire county championship title at East Kilbride Golf Club.
In marathon sudden-death play-off Kenny won at the fifth extra hole by holing a 15ft putt for a birdie.
The top eight
available players will go into match-play on Tuesday night
at East Kilbride.

Cameron Boomer of East Kilbride shot 75 and 69 for a total of 144 to
win Lanarkshire Golf Association youths championship
which is run in conjunction with
Lanarkshire county championship.
Cameron, aged 19, is currently on a golf
scholarship from an American college..
Runner-up was 17-year-old John Woodhouse - also of East Kilbride - who shot 74 71 145.
