Chris Robb trails Scottish colleagues in
Germany after two double bogeys
Last year's Scottish amateur champion Chris Robb (Meldrum House) does not often find himself trailing his fellow-Scots on the German PGA Developmental Tour but that's the cast after two rounds of the Ceevel Leather Open at Glashofen-Neusass Golf Club, Germany.
Banchory-based Robb has had a double bogey each round in returning two 74s for four-over-par 148. He is lying joint 36th with a round to go, 11 shots behind the German leader, Benedict Staben who has scored 678-70 for seven-under 137 and a two-shot lead.
Peterhead's Philip McLean (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) is the leadign Scot in joint 28th place alongside Ted Innes-Ker.
McLean has scored 75 (33-42) and 72 (39-33) for 147, the same tally as the Duke of Roxburghe's son who has had two steady rounds of 73-74.
