Aussie Heath wins Euro mid-am championship
Australian Richard Heath won the European mid-amateur championship at Hubbelrath, Germany with a one-under-par total of 215.
He had rounds of 68, 73 and 74 to finish two ahead of runner-up Nicolas Singer (France) (73-71-73)
Eduard Corsini (Spain) and Germany's Claudio Consul tied for third place on 218.
Ben Westgate (Wales) and Simon Miskelly (England) were the highest placed British finishers in T14 position on 223.
England's David Hannis finished T19 on 224.
The European Golf Association, who run the event, changed the age qualification this year to a minimum of 30 years.
