Only 3 Scots make the EuroPro Tour cut and

they are a long way behind leader

Only three Scots survived the cut after 36 holes of this week's PGA EuroPro Tour event, the Kerry Championship at Burhill Golf Club, Surrey.
Ross Cameron (72 for 145) is joint 22nd; Paul Shields (74 for 146) is joint 30th and Neil Fenwick made it on the limit mark with a 73 for 147.
Their chances of challenging for the £10,000 first prize are remote. Cameron, although best placed of the Scots qualifiers, is 10 shots behind the leader, Darren Wright (68-67 for 135).
Craig Lawrie, joint best Scot after a first-round 72, nosedived out of the tournament with a 79 for 151 - four shots too many.
Paul's older son had two triple bogeys on his card, a 6 at the par-3 eighth and a 7 at the par-4 10th.
