NORTH-EAST ALLIANCE FINALISE AN ORDER

OF MERIT SCRATCH AND HANDICAP SYSTEM

The North-east Golfers' Alliance hierarchy have now settled on a
format for its three Order of Merit sections - Scratch (sponsored by Craibstone Golf Club's open to non-members restaurant, Brimmond Bistro) and the two Handicap sections (sponsored by self-employed teaching pro Willie McKenzie's WLM Golf company).

Joel Hopwood's system has been adopted, whereby the top 20 in each section at a weekly Alliance fixture earn points.
We will publish the Scratch

points table as it stands in tomorrow's (Thursday) Scottishgolfview.com
Handicap Class 1 table will be displayed on Friday and Handicap
Class 2 on Saturday.
All three Orders of Merit will end on the second round of the Alliance championship at Craibstone in March.
