ALGARVE WINTER PRO TOUR OF 15 EVENTS TEES OFF
DIXON SETS PACE WITH A 66
The Algarve Pro Tour of 15 events got underway at Alamos today when England's David Dixon set the pace with a five-under-par 66.
He came home in only 31 shots, birdieing four of the last seven holes.
He leads by one from Frenchman Romain Bechu and England's Craig Farrelly.
Two Scots in the field of 40 - Mark Hillson and Ted Innes-Ker.
Mark had a 68 (33-35) to be joint fourth at the halfway stage of this 36-hole opener.
Ted is joint 11th on 71.
