MORE RAIN ON THIRD DAY OF PRTUGAL MASTERS

Alexander Levy will take a three shot lead into the third and final round of the weather-affected Portugal Masters on Sunday, despite not playing a single shot on day three.
Levy was one of only two groups to finish his second round on Friday evening, and his 18 under par total – thanks to sublime rounds of 63 and 61 – remained untouched as the rest of the field completed round two a day late.
Thunderstorms and heavy rain marred the second day’s play, causing the tournament to be reduced to 54 holes, and meant Nicolas Colsaerts, Levy’s closest challenger, had to return on Saturday morning to finish the last two holes of his round. He parred them both for a four under par 67 and a 15 under par total.
Felipe Aguilar signed for a seven under par 64, defying more heavy rain at Oceânico Victoria Golf Course in Vilamoura, which has been bone dry for four months prior to this week. The Chilean is in third place on 13 under par.
Quotes:
Alexander Levy
“But I managed to play really good golf and I’m very happy with my game. I have been working on my iron shots a lot with my coach the past few weeks. And I think if you can hit it long, you have a big advantage on this golf course.”

Nicolas Colsaerts
“I struggled to get into my rhythm early yesterday and only shot two under on the front nine. I got to the golf course yesterday at 7am and left at 7.30pm, so it was a pretty long day and it was hard to get any sort of rhythm. As we’ve seen though there are some very low scores out there on this course so a three-shot lead isn’t a lot and we’ll see what happens tomorrow.”

Felipe Aguilar
“I had back-to-back birdies before we stopped and then I was one over for five holes after the break, so I guess it didn’t help me, but sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn’t. It's going to be difficult tomorrow. Alex is playing really well, but this is a course where you can make a lot of birdies and you can make a couple mistakes. It's going to be a fun day tomorrow."
