KRIS NICOL'S 67 GETS HIM THROUGH ON THE LIMIT MARK

TWO SALTMAN BROTHERS MISS CUT

AT EUROPR0 TOUR EVENT

Fraserburgh's Kris Nicol (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) squeezed into the third and final round of the EuroPro Tour 54-hole event at Moor Allerton Golf Club, Leeds with a second-round 67 for a tally of level par 142 - the limit mark for the qualifiers.
But Saltman brothers Elliot and Lloyd missed out on 143 and 148 respectively as did Neil Fenwick on 146
Leading Scot is Paul Doherty in joint fourth place on 137 (68-69). He has a realistic chance of winning the £10,000 first prize as he is only one shot off the lead which is shared by England's Luke Jackson (70-66), Stiggy Hodgson (68-68) and Billy Hemstock (65-71)
And Ross Kellett is by no means out of it after producing a 66 for 139 and a share of 13th place overnight, three off the pace.
