GORDON MUNRO WINS BRODIE
TROPHY WITH BETTER 2nd ROUND

Munro (Fraserburgh) won the Forres Golf Club's 36 hole open for the Brodie Trophy on Saturday.
He had rounds of 71 and 70 for a one-over-par total of 141, a total which was matched by David Sanderson (Inverness) with scores of 68 and 73.
Munro won with the better second round.
he won on a better second round from David 1. Jim Simpson (Forres) finished third on 142 (72-70).
Local Forres junior Thomas Bell won the Forsyth Trophy for the bet
net aggregate of 138 off a handicap of 8. He had net rounds of 73 and 65.
