PGA IN SCOTLAND NEW TOUR FOR THE OVER-45s

McALLISTER AND ELLIOTT HAVE THEIR
 

SENIOR MOMENTS AT FALKIRK TRYST

The PGA in Scotland's Senior Tour got off to a good start today (Monday) with a four-ball, better-ball competition for the over-45s at Falkirk Tryst Golf Club.
"Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves," said tournament director Roy Murray and we hope to build on this with more events for the seniors."
First winners were Stephen McAllister (Renaissance Club) and Campbell Elliott (Haggs Castle) with a better-ball score of nine-under-par 61.
They really got their act together after the turn, coming home in a better-ball 28 to win the £500 prize.
Runners-up with a 63, which earned them £300 were Stephen Craig (Craig Group) and Jacky Montgomery (Dunbar).
Joint third on 65 were Ross Drummond (unattached) and Jim Farmer (R and A) who tied with Billy Marchbank (Crieff) and Alan White (Lanark).
