RUSSELL KNOX MAKES CUT EASILY IN RBC HERITAGE

STEPHEN GALLACHER NOSEDIVES OUT

OF US PGA TOUR EVENT WITH AN 81

Stephen Gallacher crashed out of this weekend's US PGA Tour event, the RBC Heritage, when the rain-hit second round was completed at Harbour Town Golf Links, Hilton Head, South Carolina this morning (local time).
The Scot followed up his promising first-round 71 with an 81 for 152 - six shots over the cut mark.
Martin Laird was another Scottish casualty with a 153 aggregate made up on 72 and 81. Sir Nick Faldo also hit the 153 mark with 77-76.
But Russell Knox is in the mix with rounds of 69 and 72 for a share of 22nd place on 141.
