SCOTTISH JUNIOR GOLF TOUR

INVERNESS, CARLUKE BOYS BEST AT

CARNOUSTIE BUDDON

REPORT FROM WALTER BURNS
Scottish Junior Golf Tour
Here are the results from the Scottish Junior Golf Tour event at Carnoustie yesterday. It was a level 4 and 5 event on the Buddon Course, Carnoustie.
The Carnoustie area avoided the heavy rain that hit most of Scotland but there was a strong cold wind. Euan Gill from Inverness had his first win on the Junior Tour with a very good level par 65 - a just reward for his many journeys up and down the A9. Graeme Greer (Carluke) had his second win of the season with 67 in the Under-16 section.
Congratulations to David Fair on his hole in one at the difficult 13th.
That will be the last time we play the old Buddon course as the new holes will be opening shortly. We look forward to returning to play the new exciting lay-out in April.
