Seasonal Events Assistant

There has never been a more challenging and exciting time to work in Scottish Golf.  
With the advent of the 2014 Ryder Cup and clubs facing the most difficult trading environment seen in more than a generation, there is much to be done.
The Scottish Golf Union has a vacancy within our Events Team, with responsibility for assisting the staging and administration of our National Championship portfolio. 
We are currently seeking applications for a Part-time Seasonal Events Assistant based in our St Andrews Office to support the above functions.
You should be highly organised; the ability to work on your own initiative and within a small friendly team key for this role within the Events department. 
A sound knowledge of golf would be helpful, along with experience of using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and the Internet. 
Work experience in the golf industry would be an advantage.
