CHRIS DOAK, MATTEO MANASSERO AMONG LATEST CALLAWAY SIGNINGS

Matteo Manassero and Scot Chris Doak are among the latest players to be signed up by Callaway Golf.

In the past few weeks, Callaway has added FedEx Cup champion Henrik Stenson and two-time US PGA Tour winner Harris English to its stable. Now, it also has Manassero, pictured, a 20-year-old Italian who has won four times on the European Tour, including last year’s BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, the flagship event on the Euro circuit.
“After testing lots of different products, I am very happy to be joining Callaway and I am really excited to use their whole range of equipment,” he said in a release.
“I’m really impressed with everything so far and the Callaway Team has been fantastic. I’m looking forward to starting the 2014 season with my new clubs at the Volvo Golf Champions this week.”
Since winning last May at the BMW PGA, Manassero has recorded just one top 10 in his last 17 starts.

Other Callaway signings announced this week include US PGA Tour players John Rollins and Matt Every, European Tour player Chris Doak, pictured right, from Scotland and 2013 Asian Tour money winner Kiradech Aphibarnrat.
Doak was Scottish PGA champion in 2010, and won the Northern Open in 2005 and 2008.
