Dornoch's Jimmy Gunn is lying second at the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament with two rounds still to go in the six-round marathon at PGA West Stadium Course, La Quinta, California.
Gunn is on 268 (68-70-64-66), one shot behind the leader, American Scott Pinckney (68-67-67-65 for 267).
Steve Saunders is lying third on 269 with scores of 67 65 67 70
David Skinns, the only Englishman in the field, is way out of the reckoning for the leading 45 who will gain playing rights on the Web.com Tour (America's No 2 men's pro circuit).
Skinns is T1076 on 288 with rounds of 72, 71, 71 and 74.
