 Blairgowrie's +1 amateur Tom Levy tied with professionals Steve Craig, over from Germany, and former PGA Cup player Craig Mathieson (Falkirk Tryst) for first scratch pize with three-under-par 69s i8n this week's Midland Golfers' Alliance competition - the Grant's Promotions pro-am - at Fairmont St Andrews Hotel's Torrance course.

Lundin pro Ron Walker and amateurs Bob Tait (Leven Thistle) (5), Ken Fraser (Leven Thistle) (8) and George Hume (Lundin) (8) won the team prize with a net score of 127.
