JEFT WRIGHT COMES BACK FROM FIVE DOWN TO WIN NORTH DISTRICT MATCH-PLAY TITLE

Jeff Wright (Forres) beat Lyle McAlpine (Royal 

Dornoch) at the 19th hole in today's final of the 

North District match-play championship at the Nairn 

Links.

Wright was five down after eight holes but came

storming back to win the Robin Thomson Trophy at

the first extra hole.
