ADAM SCOTT WINS AUSSIE PGA CHAMPIONSHIP FOUR FOUR FROM RICKIE FOWLER


Masters champion Adam Scott made a triumphant return to Australia by winning the Australian PGA championship by four strokes at Royal Pines Golf Resort on Queensland's Gold Coast today.
Scott shot rounds of 65, 67, 71 and 67 for a 14-under-par total of 270 over the par-71 course.
First-round leader Rickie Fowler (United States) finishes second on 274 with scores of 63, 72, 71 and 68.

Editor's footnote: As a teenager, Adam Scott played in the Doug Sanders world junior championships at Aberdeen in the 1990s. From memory, Scott played when the tournament was held at Newmachar.
