RAIN HITS THE SPIRIT INTERNATIONAL ON FIRST DAY AT WHISPERING PINES
Heavy rain caused a mid-morning suspension of play on the first day of The Spirit International amateur men's and women's tournament at Whispering Pines, Texas.
Play, to the best of our knowledge, did not resume.
Scotland are represented in this better-ball tournament by Ewan Scott (St Andrews), Grant Forrest (North Berwick), Gemma Dryburgh (Beaconsfield) and Rachael Watton (Mortonhall), all students at Us colleges.
