JAMES WHITE WINS MIDLAND ALLIANCE WITH A 67 AT DRUMOIG


Scotland amateur international James White, a +3 player at Lundin Golf Club, Fife, won the leading scratch prize at this past week's Midland Golfers' Alliance meeting at Drumoig golf course, Fie.
White shot an excellent six-under-par score of 67.
He won by two strokes from Downfield senior tour pro Kenny Hutton.
There was a tie for the top handicap prize btween Derrick Thomson, who plays off five at Downfield, and clubmate Tom Anderson, who has four of a handicap. They both returned net 69s.
