LAW LEADS BY FOUR WITH A ROUND TO GO AT
PAUL LAWRIE INVITATIONAL

David Law increased his lead to a commanding four strokes with an impressive, six-under-par 64 in the second round of the Paul Lawrie Invitational at Deeside Golf Club today (Wednesday).
At 10-under-par 130, the former Scottish amateur champion and past Northern Open winner has outclassed most of the Tartan Tour's finest over the first 36 holes and it would be a brave man who would predict that he will not make every post a winning one over the Bieldside course.
Law's 64 was a brilliant, bogey-free effort, studded with birdies at the second, long third, fourth, ninth, short 12th and 18th.
His nearest rival is Kirkhill tour pro Paul Shields who had a 66 for 134. After bogeys at the sixth and seventh, Shields covered the last 10 holes in three under par. But it is going to take more than than to reel in Law.
Stephen Gray (Hayston) birdied five of his last 12 holes for a 67 and he shares third place on 136 with Paul O'Hara (Clydeway Golf) who birdied 16th and 17th for a repeat 68.
Scottish boys champion Bradley Neil (Blairgowrie) is on his own as leading amateur on 140 with a pair of 70s.
