EIGHTH WIN OF SEASON BY GRAHAM FOX AT DRUMPELLIER


Graham Fox (Clydeway Golf), pictured above by Cal Carson Golf Agency, scored his eighth Tartan Tour win of the season at today's Drumpellier Golf Club pro-am.
Fox shot a six-birdie, five-under-par round of 66 to win the £1,191 prize and boost his season's earnings to £21,429.
Fox won by a shot from his Clydeway Golf, Uddingston colleague, Paul O'Hara who won the Scottish young professionals' title at West Lothian
GC earlier in the week. O'Hara earned £953 for the runner-up spot. He had the same amount of birdies as Fox - six - but two bogeys to the winner's one.
Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills), Scott Henderson (Kings Links), David Orr (Mearns Castle) and Jason McCreadie (Buchanan Castle)shared third place on 68.
McCreadie piloted the H K Pender team of Hugh Pender (handicap 11), Walter Francis (18) and Scott Grahamn (13) to victory in the pro-am event with a 16-under-par net total of 55.
