CHRISTOPHER ROBINSON WINS YOUNG PROS' PRO-AM AT INSCH

Christopher Robinson (Portpatrick Dunskey) won the £500 top prize in the Clan Insch Young Professionals' pro-am at Insch Golf Club, Aberdeenshire today.
Robinson had an eagle 2 at the 15th and birdies a the fifth, 10th and 14th in compiling a two-under-par 67 with bogeys at the second, 12th and 16th.
He won by two shots from Grant Smith (Gleneagles) and Craig Haugh (Linlithgow). Smith had 2s at the 17th and 18th.
Calum Lawson (Wellsgreen) led the Triton amateur trio of Stuart Brown (handicap 11), Alan Aitken (17) and Angus Wright (18) to victory in the pro-am team event with a total of 16 under par 122.
