HEAVY RAIN REDUCES SCOTTISH BOYS' STROKE PLAY TO 3 ROUNDS

The Scottish Under-18 boys' open amateur stroke-play championship has been reduced to 54 holes after heavy rain this morning delayed the start of the final day until 10.56am, which meant there would not be enough daylight in which to complete the final two rounds over The Roxburghe Hotel golf course at Kelso.
Robert MacIntyre (Glencruitten) leads the field by five strokes.

Stephen Gallacher, whose Foundation is sponsoring the event, will present the prizes at the conclusion.
