NEWS RELEASE FROM CHIGWELL GOLF CLUB

Chigwell Golf Club recently appointed Gordon Simpson as the new General Manager of the premier Essex golf club.

Gordon joins Chigwell from Hilton Park Golf Club in Glasgow were he had been working as General Manager and Head Professional since 2006.   
Prior to this Gordon spent eleven years as Head Professional and Director of Golf at Newmachar Golf Club and seven years as an Assistant Professional at Deeside Golf Club.

Gordon has been a PGA Professional for 16 years and has vast experience in all aspects of the golf industry.  However, in recent years he has decided to concentrate on the management side of golf and comes highly recommended from within the golf industry.
Chigwell Golf Club vice-chairman, Ray Andes said:
"We are delighted with the appointment of Gordon as our General Manager and he has joined Chigwell at a very exciting and important time for the Club. 
"Gordon will take responsibility to drive our Three Year Plan to develop the club into one of the premier destinations in the London and Essex area and we are very confident that he will deliver the plan in full and on time."
