GARRICK PORTEOUS FOUR UP ON TONI HAKULA AFTER 24 HOLES IN BRITISH AMATEUR FINAL
Scottish open amateur stroke-play champion Garrick Porteous (Bamburgh Castle GC, NE of England) was well on his way to winnng the British Amateur championship at Royal Cinque Ports GC, Kent today.In the 36-hole final, Porteous, (pictured) was four holes up on Finland's Toni Hakula after 24 holes.
Hakula beat the 2013 Scottish amateur match-play champion Grant Forrest (Craigielaw) in the third round.
