KENNY HUTTON WINS MIDLAND ALLIANCE TITLE PLAY-0FF

This week the Midland Golfers’ Alliance held the JTC Kitchen Express Championship at Crieff Golf Course 

in Perthshire.

 After 36 holes their was a three way tie for the championship between Gary Tough, Edzell (Scr), Willie Hutton, Pitlochry (1) and Kenny Hutton, Downfield (P) all returning 4 over par scores of 145. Gary bowed out at the first play off hole after a bogey 4, with Kenny winning the 3rd extra hole with a birdie 3 to become champion for the 5th time.

 Mike MacKenzie, Edzell (AP) had the shot of the day holing a pitching wedge at the 124 yard 4th hole for a hole in one.
