TWO ENGLAND PLAYERS IN TOP TEN AT JONES CUP

England's Ben Stow is the leading British or Irish player after two rounds of the Jones Cup international amateur tournament at Ocean Forest Golf Club, Sea Island in the State of Georgia.
Stow shot 73-70 for 143 over the 7,321yd course to be sharing second place with Dutchman Rowin Caron, three shots behind the leader, American Cory Whitesett (68-72 for four-under 140).
Another England player, Jack Hiluta, a former US college student, shot 74-71 for 145 and eighth place with a round to go..
Jason Shufflebotham from Wales was lying T15 on 148 (76-72) with Kevin Phelan (Ireland) T13 on 149 (73-76).
Seb Crookall-Nixon (England) was T29 on 150 (76-74) two shots ahead of Dumfries-born Liam Johnston, currently a student at East Tennessee State University, who is T38 with scores of 75-77.
