SOUTH KOREAN LADY PRO AGAIN RUNNER-UP ON SPANISH TOUR

For the second week in a row on the Spanish Evolve Tour, the same woman - South Korean Miss Byun Hyun Min - has finished second. Playing off slightly forward tees - about a 10 to 15% shorter course than her male opponents, Miss Min shot rounds of 72 and 74 for two over-par 146 in the Hacienda Riquelme Open in the south-east province of Murcia
She finished six shots behind the German winner, Florian Fritsch who had rounds of 66 and 764 for four-under 140.
Englishmen Gary King (76-71) and Alex Belt (73-74) tied for third place on 147.
Former Scottish youths champion and Stirling University graduate David Booth from Rotherham, now campaigning as a pro, finished fifth on 150 with scores of 78 and 72
Sorry we cannot give you a clue as to what the prize money allocation was because the Evolve Tour, like its predecesor, the Hi5 Tour does not make this information public on its website.
Pity, the Evolve Tour might attract more UK and Irish pros if they knew what the level of prizemoney was.
