Ever wondered what happened to Michael Sim, the Aberdeen-born, raised in Australia player who became the world's No 1 amateur before turning pro and making it to the US PGA Tour before an injury blighted his career?
His Aberdonian father George, a businessman in Australia since he took his family Down Under when Michael was only seven years old, told me by E-mail this morning.
"Michael is still playing golf - he is in the field for this week's New Zealand Open and will head back to the United States in a couple of weeks."
Good luck, Michael.
You deserved better than the way your pro career has turned out.
