Rumours that Rory McIlroy and girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki are engaged started up again today when Wozniacki was seen wearing a huge diamond on her left finger when she arrived in Australia.
Wozniacki did little to hide the square-cut ring, which is similar to the Duchess of Cambridge’s engagement ring from Prince William more than two years ago.
She flashed her new accessory when she arrived for her practice session at the Queensland Tennis Centre before competing in the Brisbane International. She removed the ring before she took the court.
Wozniacki has also been seen wearing a diamond and sapphire band, sparking another speculation that she and McIlroy could have wed in secrecy.
Last month, she denied rumours that she and McIlroy were engaged when Serena Williams' hitting partner, Sacha Bajin, played a prank with the tennis superstar by tweeting a congratulations to the couple’s happy news. Wozniacki replied, "Can't believe you started rumours like that! @BigSascha .. Not engaged yet, but you'll be the first to know if we do!"
