JAMES BYRNE'S FINAL ROUND WASH-OUT

The final round of the Asian Development Tour event on Taipei, the Yeangder ADT tournament was cancelled when the course flooded after heavy and sustained rain.
Banchory's James Byrne finished joint 30th on three-under-par 213 with scores of 70, 69 and 74. He earned US$ 996.
The abandonment of the final day's play robbed him of the chance to post three top 10 finishes in a row on the ADT.
Taipei players finished first and second with 52-year-old Lu Chien-soon winning the first prize of $US 21,000 by five strokes with a 19-under-par total of 197 (66-63-68)
Byrne also finished 27th in the ADT Order of Merit with earnings of US$6,616 from three events.
