LET'S HAVE FOUR DAYS OF SINGLES AT FUTURE RYDER CUPS

Can you improve on perfection?
Good question after arguably the best Ryder Cup match there has ever been.
But boil it all down and the foursomes and four-balls were just "shadow boxing" for the main event - the 12 decisive singles on the Sunday.
What if we cut out the foursomes and the four-balls and have FOUR daily sessions of singles with everybody playing.
Here's Paul Lawrie's view:

"I think all players should play every session as leaving out four players each time is poor.  But apart from that I wouldn't change the formats."

+Incidentally, the official attendance for the 2012 Ryder Cup was a sell-out 240,000.
