Ranfurly Castle's Sam Binning was the leading qualifier for the match-play stages of the Eden Tournament at St Andrews today (Tuesday). He added a 71 to an opening 69 for a level par tally of 140 - two shots ahead of Matthew Hogg (Rushcliffe) (72-70) More than 230 players took part in the qualifying rounds.
