JOHN CAIRNS------- AN
APPRECIATION.
Friends of John Cairns (Alloa Golf Club) were
saddened to learn of his death recently. Known in golfing circles as Jock, he
brought an infectious enthusiasm for golf to all who met him.
John was gently persuaded to take up office in Clackmannan County Golf Union, and took to the duties in a conscientious manner, inspiring others and eventually reaching the office of County Golf Union President.
Sympathies are extended to his family at this sad time.
