RUSSELL KNOX EARNS $26,700 FOR JT 21ST - HIS BEST OF SEASON

The Massachusetts-born 27-year-old had entered the final round with a one-stroke advantage after completing a third-round 64 earlier in the day in the weather-affected event.
And he held his nerve to post another solid round, picking up five shots - including late birdies on 16 and 17 to pull away - and only blotting his copybook with a bogey five at the 14th.
That gave Stallings a 24-under-par total of 264 - a tournament record at Annandale Golf Club - and a second USPGA Tour triumph.
Russell Knox enjoyed a welcome change of luck with his best finished of the season- T21 on 12-under-par 276 with rounds of 67, 71, 71 and 67.
The Scot started his final round with three birdies and he finished it with an eagle 3. He earned $26,700 for the performance which pushes his season's earnings up to £$121,866 but he is still way down the US PGA Tour money table at No 192 (up six places from the previous week)
To keep his playing rights at the end of the season, Knox has to get up nearer No 100 in the table.
He has played in 16 events this year and made only five cuts.
Perhaps his weekend performance will give him the confidence boost he needs to starting making the cuts every week, as he used to on the Nationwide Tour.
