SCOTT CRICHTON HALFWAY LEADER IN TENNANT CUP

Aberdour's Scott Crichton returned to form to take the halfway lead in the Tennant Cup with rounds of 71  and 69 at Glasgow Gailes links on Saturday for a two-under-par tally of 140. 
That represented very good scoring in wind and rain which produced a CSS of 75 for Round 1 and 74 for Round 2.
For today's final two rounds at the Glasgow Golf Club's Killermont course, Crichton starts with a lead of two strokes from New Zealander Sam Davis (71-71) with another player from Down Under, Australian Heath Riches (74-70), sharing third place with Nick Macandrew (Royal Aberdeen) (75-69)
