ROSS PROCTOR WINS NORTH OF SCOTLAND BOYS' CHAMPIONSHIP FOR H R SPENCE TROPHY

Ross Proctor (Forres) won the North of Scotland boys' championship for the H R Spence Trophy by three strokes over two rounds at Kinloss Golf Club on Sunday. The event was sponsored by J and C Fotheringham.
 Proctor shot rounds of 66 and 69 for an aggregate of 135, one over par.
Runner-up was Buckpool's Jake Scott who did well in the recent Paul Lawrie Foundation Scottish boys' championship at Murcar links. Scott had rounds of 71 and 67 for 138.
Shaun Hogg (Alness) was third on 140 with scores of 71 and 69.
